Safesave Pharmacy was founded in 1961 by George Nicholau.   Pharmacist George established this independent pharmacy based on a simple tradition: "Customer's satisfaction first."   Shortly after that, a young pharmacist, Ernie Low, just graduated from UCSF started working for George and eventually became owner in the late 1980s.  Ernie and Cinda (wife) committed to upholding this tradition for over forty years.   In October of 2006, Ernie and Cinda passed on the ownership to Hieng and Kimse Tang.  Knowing that Safesave Pharmacy have been proudly serving generations of customers since 1961, Hieng and Kimse were very honored to take on the same responsibility to continue George and Ernie's legend and foremost, offering fast and courteous prescription service for all.
For over seventeen years at Safesave, Hieng and Kimse feel so privilege and grateful to have met so many wonderful customers, both young and old, and their loyalties to keep and support local independent pharmacy.  Thank you very much!
